Cancellation Policy
Cancel or reschedule an Experience Did your planes change? In accordance with our standard cancellation policy, you will receive a full refund for any experience if you cancel at least 7 days before the start date of the experience or within 24 hours of purchase. Very easy! If you want to reschedule the date and time of your experience (or change the number of participants), you can do so within 24 hours after booking and up to 72 hours before the start of the experience. Do you have an emergency and need to cancel? Check our Force Majeure Policy to make sure you meet the requirements. You may need to provide documentation. Force majeure policy General information This Force Majeure Policy explains how we handle cancellations when unforeseen events beyond your control arise after the reservation that prevent or prohibit you from completing it. This policy applies to reservations for both accommodations and experiences. If cancellation is allowed under this policy, it will take precedence over the reservation cancellation policy. Travelers affected by any of the situations included in this policy may cancel their reservation and receive a refund, travel credit or other consideration, depending on the circumstances. Hosts who are affected by any of the situations covered by this policy can cancel without penalties, but the dates of the canceled reservation may be marked as unavailable in their calendars depending on the circumstances. Covered situations This Policy uses the term "Situation" to refer to the following situations that occur after the reservation is made, that cannot be foreseen, and that legally prevent or prohibit completion. Changes in government requirements regarding travel. Unexpected changes in the requirements to apply for a visa or passport imposed by a government authority that prevent travel to the destination. The loss or expiration of the documents necessary to travel or other personal circumstances related to the authorization of a traveler to travel are not contemplated. Declared emergencies and epidemics. National or local emergencies, epidemics, pandemics, and public health emergencies officially declared by the government. Diseases that are endemic or already associated with a particular area, such as malaria in Thailand or dengue in Hawaii, are not included. Government restrictions on travel. Travel restrictions imposed by a government authority that prevent or prohibit travel to, staying in, or traveling from the accommodation area. Non-binding travel advice and other similar government advice are not included. Military actions and other conflicts. Acts of war, conflicts, invasions, civil wars, terrorism, explosions, bombings, rebellions, riots, insurrection, public disorder and civil instability. Natural disasters. Natural disasters, acts of God, large-scale interruptions to basic public services, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and other extreme and abnormal weather events. It does not include weather or natural conditions that are common and predictable in a given area, for example, hurricanes that occur during hurricane season in Florida. Situations that are not covered Everything else. This policy only allows reservations to be canceled due to the situations described above. Everything else is excluded. Some examples of situations this policy does not cover are: unexpected ailments, illnesses or injuries; government obligations such as being summoned to serve on a jury, court appearances, or military duties; recommendations for travelers or other government advice (that does not restrict or prohibit travel); cancellation or rescheduling of an event for which the reservation was made; and transportation disruptions that are not related to a deck situation, such as road closures and cancellations of flights, trains, buses, and ferries. If you cancel a reservation in these cases, the amount refunded will be determined based on the cancellation policy applicable in each case.
